Phone number validation on the EDE flow

  • All phone numbers are validated in the EDE flow (contact number, Employer contact number, etc) 
  • The new validation will flag phone numbers that are invalid for the following cases: 
    1. Area Code: The first digit of the 10-digit phone number cannot be 0 or 1
    2. Exchange Code: The fourth digit of the 10-digit phone number cannot be 0 or 1
    3. Restricted Phone Numbers: ‘0000000000’, ‘1111111111’, ‘2222222222’, ‘3333333333’, ‘4444444444’, ‘5555555555’,’6666666666′, ‘7777777777’, ‘8888888888’, ‘9999999999’, ‘1234567890’, ‘0123456789’
    4. Contact Phone Number Area Code: The numbers below are not valid US area codes:
